I haven’t done an outfit post since April last year (don’t go and find it on my blog, it’s awful)… Seeing as I have a slightly better sense of fashion now (I hope), I thought I would do another one! It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. And by Christmas, I mean autumn, and by autumn I mean I’ve had the radiator on once or twice. These are two outfits for going out for the cooler weather. The items I could find online (or a similar one) are linked.
Here, I am wearing a shirt from Boohoo which is too smart for school, so I save it for going out. It’s cropped so it looks nice with black jeans or a skirt and makes any outfit a little more colourful as the rest of my wardrobe is pretty much black, white and grey. A splash of red is great every now and then.
I have pared my top with this black (fake) suede skirt from H&M (similar). I love how this skirt looks. The only problem is the length. It looks great standing up, but it’s a bit awkward when I try to sit down. But, I love it regardless.
So I didn’t feel the cold, I wore my favourite denim jacket. It’s an oversized, distressed black denim jacket from NewLook. It looks good with pretty much anything and I can wear it on even colder days with my grey hoodie layered underneath. You can’t see my shoes, but i’m wearing black heeled boots with a zip up the front (damn you, photographer!).
This is my favourite outfit of the two. Let’s go from my head down. My front earrings are from The Silver Shop, a shop in Bath. If you’re ever in the area, I would highly recommend going in there, it’s great. My flower ring is also from there. The back hoops are from Accessorize.
My top is from Primark. It was probably super cheap (knowing Primark), and has got half sleeves. It’s made from a woollen material so it’s quite warm. However, I’d probably wear the denim jacket from above with this for warmth. The forest green colour is my fave at the moment. My ‘E’ necklace is from Oliver Bonas. I got it many years ago as a Christmas present from my Great Aunt, and as it’s silver – literally haven’t taken it off since.
My trousers are from TK Maxx. They are by Anne Carson, apparently (I just had to really awkwardly look in the label as I am wearing them currently). They are super comfy which is why I love them. And finally, I’m wearing good old trusty leather Converse on my feet (as usual). Converse are my shoe of choice and it’s quite unusual to see me without them.
I hope you enjoyed these two outfits I put together. Thanks to my friend Anna for the lovely shots (annaowensblog)! She did a similar post on her blog for which I took the photos *polishes nails on chest*!
